SUSTAINABLE SOURCING & PRODUCTION

We partner with state-certified sustainable forestry professionals to source our pine, ensuring responsible land management from the very first step.  Our production process uses it’s own waste and dust for power, not fossil fuels.

LABORATORY
TESTED

Our manufacturing facility is swabbed inside and out, and shavings are independently lab tested for salmonella, E. coli, mold, metals, and more. You can trust you’re getting the cleanest shavings available, every time.

SEALED FROM
THE START

Once the tree enters the shaver box, human hands never touch the product. Shavings are processed, dried, screened, bagged, and sealed in a fully contained automated line, significantly reducing the possibility of contamination.

HIGH HEAT
DRYING

Shavings are air-dried at over 600°F to kill any pathogens and remove as much moisture as possible. This produces cleaner, more bio-secure shavings that are drier, more absorbent and last longer.

MULTIPLE DUST
SCREENINGS

Shavings are screened multiple times to remove as much dust as possible.  This helps reduce the risk of respiratory issues for both animals and the people who care for them.

QUALITY
CONTROL

Shavings bales are checked by our Quality Control team for dryness, consistency, and cubic footage. You get exactly what you pay for; every time, no exceptions.
