Agri-Products Rescue and Outreach Program (Eastern REgion)
Join Us!
As part of Agri-Products Outreach Program, we are proud to sponsor and support the caregivers of non-profit horse rescue and retirement homes for horses. With the help of our business partners, we will make a significant, positive impact on abused and unwanted horses.
For the Greater Good:
There are a lot of people out there in the horse industry ---- Horse Rescue Volunteers, Therapeutic Riding School Teachers, Veterinarian Assistants, Caregivers, Boarding Operations and others like them whose career choices inherently add value to our culture, regardless of whether they see it this way or not.
Take teaching for example. Not only is it rewarding for the Teacher on a personal level, it is beneficial for society on a universal one. Sure, there are richer career paths these people could walk in life, but perhaps none as worthwhile. For them and what they do, we take our hats off!
This is the reason Suncoast Bedding contributed almost $9,000.00 in our first year of operation. We challenge each that read this ---- Reach out and help!
This is all for the Greater Good!
Come join the herd! Let's support the Caregivers.
Our Horse's Value
Our Horse was first domesticated 4000 BC by man, or really, probably women. Horse was first mounted by us in the 7th century BC.
The history and development of people and horses are inseparable.
Wherever humans have left their footprints in their long climb from barbarism to civilization, the hoof prints of Horses are beside them. We would still be living in caves, if it had not been for what the Horse could and willingly helped us accomplish.
It was our vision and intellect combined with the Horse's physical strength, agility and desire to please that moved us forward in accomplishing day in and day out objectives in the areas of transportation, farm work, war, police and fire protection, and material handling of all sorts.
Today, the Horse has lost its job of moving us and material. We are the first generation in America that no longer needs the Horse for trade or commerce, with the very small exception of the "cowboy culture" of working cows.
Suncoast Bedding feels, and we hope you agree, that we have a responsibility to the Horse, as caregivers, to step in as needed to support as many as possible the dedicated Horse rescue and retirement operations.
Additionally, we will enlist our customers to help in this effort. As customers of Suncoast Bedding you are a "part of the herd". YOU are making a difference in this effort.
With the help of the Humane Society of the United States, we have selected non-profit Horse rescue and retirement operations in the states that we sell our product to distributors.
